The lock box, made of galvanized steel, is designed to allow installation of the cylinder guard with mounting holes spaced 38 mm apart, and houses within it the lever system that controls the latch, lateral deadbolt and vertical rods with a single smooth movement of the key.
The wide 70-mm keyway improves lock ergonomics; the key patch is away from the frame post, does not snag during opening, and it is no longer possible to get pinched between the leaf and the door.
